Three-day residential training on sexual harassment laws at Mehergarh

Centre for Counselling & Career Advisory (C3A) attended a three-day residential training on sexual harassment laws at Mehergarh from 24^th February to 26^th February 2023. A total of 30 participants from different organizations including HEC, Fatima Jinnah Women University, COMSATS University, SECP, State Bank of Pakistan etc. Participated in this training program. The objective of the training session was to acquaint and educate the participants with the sexual harassment law and inform them on how organisations can effectively implement the law in their respective areas.

Ms Maliha Husain, Executive Director at Mehergarh, further inculcated different notions surrounding gender equality and practice the equal implementation of the law and policy across all genders. Also, Ms Nabila Hakim Ali, Ombudsman Punjab, actively interacted with the participants.

Mr. Ali Hasnain Sayed, Director C3A, Ms. Maham Rizwan, Psychologist, and Ms. Sidra Azhar, Senior Career Counsellor represented NUST and learned strategies for the successful implementation of Sexual Harassment policy at NUST.
