Talk on “Policy on Protection Against Sexual Harassment” for NG Staff

NUST Centre for Counselling and Career Advisory (C3A), in collaboration with HR Dte, conducted a session on “Policy on Protection Against Sexual Harassment” for NG Staff on 25th May, 2023 at the SEECS Seminar Hall. Ms Ayesha Mujeeb, a senior psychologist from C3A, was the Resource Person for this talk. A total of 40 participants including lab technicians/ assistants, UDC, LDC, and DPA’s attended the session. The objectives of this session were:

1.   To raise awareness among NG staff about policy on protection against sexual harassment at workplace
2.   To acquaint them with the process of launching a complaint and inquiry procedure
3.   To brief them about implementation of policy guidelines

The session was very fruitful for the audience as they found it to be very interactive, learnt to debunk myths about sexual harassment, and gained knowledge about the existence and implementation of the policy. The audience showed great interest by actively asking questions and appreciated C3A for conducting this session.
