Ensuring Mental Health and a Safer Environment at Workplace–Secretariat Training Institute (STI)

In line with its mission to help our community enhance their personal and social development, Centre for Counselling and Career Advisory (C3A) participated in a Panel Discussion titled ‘Ensuring Mental Health and Safer Environment at Workplace’, on 17 January 23. The interactive Panel Discussion was organized by the Secretariat Training Institute (CSS – OMG Group) trained to go in Grade-19. as part of their Mid-Career Management Course for officers in BPS-19 of Federal Government.

Director C3A, Mr. Ali Hasnain Sayed inaugurated the session and introduced the C3A services to the participants. He also discussed the myths associated with mental health and stigma attached to seeking psychological help. Ms. Maham Rizwan, Psychologist C3A, talked about mental health and resilience at workplace whereas Ms. Ayesha Mujeeb, Psychologist C3A, discussed about sexual harassment and the ways to ensure a safer environment at workplace.

The participants interacted with the panelists in great numbers and shared their life experiences, struggles, opinions, and queries related to mental health. Their questions were addressed at the end of the session.
