C3A’s Annual Visit to NUST Institutes Other Than H-12 Campus

As part of the annual institutes visit, the NUST Centre for Counselling and Career Advisory (C³A) conducted a series of activities for the PNEC, MCE and CAE.

In all these institutes, freshmen were briefed on the Centre’s comprehensive support services to help them begin their academic journey with greater awareness and guidance. 2^nd year students participated in a Career Planning & Management (CPM) lecture, exploring self-assessment and career options through a SWOT-based approach. Especially catering to students’ needs, an impactful session on Emotional Intelligence offered practical strategies for understanding emotions and maintaining well-being while a dedicated session on the “NUST Policy on Protection Against Harassment” guided students on complaint procedures and policy implementation. Collectively, a total of 1100 students were reached during these sessions at the institutes.

Faculty members also joined a Psychology of Positivity session that emphasized self-care, wellbeing and a healthy work environment, reinforcing the Centre’s commitment to supporting a healthy and thriving academic community. A total of 59 faculty members attended the session. To further extend support, the C³A team also offered individual counselling services which were availed by 03 students at PNEC, 27 at MCE and 23 at CAE supporting them in managing academic and personal challenges and enhancing their overall well-being.
