C3A Hostel Support Initiative: “Managing Stress” Training Session for Hostel Managers
-As part of its hostel support initiative, C3A organized a stress management training session for hostel managers of both male and female hostels at H-12 campus in the month of August 2025. This initiative aimed to promote mental well-being among university residents, including students and staff. The training was designed on the basis of a need analysis carried out through focus group discussions with hostel staff.
The objective of this session was to equip the participants with practical relaxation methods designed to alleviate the stress they experience in both their professional and personal lives. Another key component of the session was the compliment circle, which served as a unique opportunity for managers to build stronger connections by offering meaningful feedback and acknowledging each other’s contributions. Lastly, a dedicated support group provided a foundation for ongoing encouragement. The group offered a safe space for participants to share challenges, exchange advice, and support one another in real-time. This combination of practical tools and community-building activities created a lasting impact on both personal stress management and team cohesion. A total of 11 participants attended this session.
