C3A Empowers Female Focal Persons (FFP) through Training on “NUST Policy on Protection against Harassment”

The Centre for Counselling and Career Advisory (C3A) successfully conducted a one-day sensitization training session titled ‘NUST Policy on Protection against Harassment’ specifically for Female Focal Persons from all NUST schools and constituents, apart from NBC and PNEC. This training was conducted on 23rd July 2024 at the C3A conference room.

Led by the dedicated C3A team, the objective of this training was to familiarize the participants with the policy’s implementation guidelines, their responsibilities as FFP in handling harassment cases and the crucial role of the Centre as a Harassment Complaint Cell. Participants engaged in insightful activities aimed at enhancing their ethical decision-making skills in handling harassment cases. This activity based experiential learning training included case studies and role plays to develop a better understanding of how to deal sensitively with disclosure of such cases.

The training concluded with the trainers addressing all queries of the participants, and the positive feedback received underscored the immense value they derived from the training.
