Awareness Raising Session on NUST Policy on Protection against Harassment for NG-Staff

NUST Centre for Counselling and Career Advisory (C³A) in collaboration with HR Dte, arranged a series of sensitization lectures on “NUST Policy on Protection Against Harassment” for NG Staff during the month of January-December 2025. The objectives of these sessions were:

1. To raise awareness among NG-staff about NUST policy on protection against harassment at workplace.
2. To brief them about implementation of policy guidelines, how to launch a complaint and inquiry procedure.

The C³A team led these sessions in a very easy to understand language, effectively conveying the importance of establishing a safe and respectful environment for everyone at NUST. In total, 8 sessions were conducted, engaging over 722 participants. C³A aims to continue these sessions to help people dispel common myths about harassment and to address the stigma surrounding this important issue.
