C3A Organizes Training of Trainers (ToT) on Psychological First Aid (PFA)
-The Centre for Counselling and Career Advisory (C3A) organized a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Psychological First Aid (PFA) for students of the NUST Community Service Club (NCSC). The four-day training, held on 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st August 2025, was facilitated by Ms. Saiqa Raziq, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Specialist.
This training was designed to provide students with a strong foundation in PFA, and the facilitation skills needed to lead peer-to-peer awareness sessions and further extend support within the student community. It enabled participants to demonstrate their ability to conduct sessions with fellow students, share essential PFA knowledge and coping strategies, practice supportive communication, and facilitate group discussions ethically. By preparing the next group of student trainers, this initiative promoted sustainable awareness and enhanced institutional readiness by embedding PFA knowledge across multiple levels of NUST. A total of 12 students successfully completed the certified training.
